The Triathletes
Not one of us had ever attempted a triathlon before, and our average age is well north of 50. Together, we’ve raised over £6000 for the library, which means our bills are paid for the year ahead.
If we can do it, so can you.

Sprint Relay – swimming
At the end of May I will be taking part in the Blenheim Palace triathlon as part of a team to raise funds for Cricklewood Library. This will be my first year taking part but last year the funds raised helped with opening costs for the library. The library has since become a key part of the local community with a wide range of activities including literacy projects, aiding children disadvantaged by Covid, a choir, chess club and much more. Running a library takes time and money, with the volunteer team continually working hard to meet these costs. The additional funds that we are raising will allow the library to continue to expand the activities offered and increase support for the local community. Thanks for your support!

Sprint Relay – running
This is my first year participating in the Blenheim Palace relay sprint (limelightsports.club/event/blenheim-palace-triathlon-2022/blenheim-palace-triathlon-sprint-relay). The relay will be with 2 other friends (where I run for the first time in my life !) and we are hoping to raise funds for volunteer lead community charity (Cricklewood Library) which offers a wide range of activities including literacy projects to aid children disadvantaged by Covid, and other supportive community projects. Running a charity takes time and money, with the volunteer team continually working hard to meet these costs and without this support, they would struggle to operate a worthwhile community initiative. So please contribute what you can !

Sprint Relay – cyclling
This is my second year taking part in the Blenheim Palace triathlon to raise funds for Cricklewood Library. Last year it was to help with the opening costs. One year on and the library has opened and become a key part of the local community with a wide range of activities including literacy projects to aid children disadvantaged by Covid, a choir, chess club and many more. Running a library takes time and money, with the volunteer team continually working hard to meet these costs. The additional funds that we are raising will allow the library to continue to expand the activities offered and increase support for the local community. Please dig deep, every pound (or dollar or euro) helps
