Visited the library today to explore the new alarm settings and view the fittings up close. It’s looking lovely, peeps, and I’m happy to report it’s nice and warm and toasty in there! The spaces are now more defined with the walls and doors up. The only bit missing is the acoustic screen separating the meeting room from the activity room at the back, but I’m happy to report we have funding for this from the Bernard Sunley Foundation, so this should be in place before we open. Which for those of you wondering [They’re ALL wondering – Ed], is likely to be around March. Ish. We’ve announced opening dates too often now for me to fall into that trap again.
Don’t forget to sign up to our volunteering pool to help paint this space soon, peeps! The link is here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScn040vtky95r1orIwCUad70hg4VmAcJxipudV9PnJeBvQbZw/viewform
Happy New Year to all from the library team. See you in there in 2020!
